A gentleman, in the latest issue of our fine magazine, has for sale a M60-A Target in real nice condition, for $1,600. It does have a elusive Kerr sling, but $1,600? Does that seem a little high? I have to admit, it is a fairly rare,(scarce), rifle. Anyone have thoughts on this? Big Larry
I thought I’d over paid for mine at $1050 a few years ago but nice ones don’t show up very often. The market has went down in my area but the nice ones still bring good money. Dad said when selling start high you can a always come down but you can’t go up.
Have a great day

Jay, I paid $850 for my first one, shipped. Then another came along and it was actually one tick nicer, and I got it for $450 shipped. Both rifles at least 98%. A friend gave me a minty Kerr sling and I put it on the $850 rifle, and traded the other one off. One of my favorite 22’s, and they are quite accurate. Big Larry

I’d say he’s throwing something at the wall to see if it sticks. They are quite valuable in top condition but I don’t see that kind of value.
If I had to have one for my 22 collection, I might be a player if I could get the guy to come down on the price. I had two beauties and recently traded one for a High Standard M106 Supermatic Military Trophy in mint condition, with all accessories. These are very nice rifles, and have a special finish. I was glad when I noticed the 60 Target , I am in the market for one, but not at that price. Way over inflated IMHO.
