I have two Model 9422 rifles that a friend asked me to take to the Denver Gun Collector show and sell for him. These are the earliest variant 9422 XTR Classic in .22 S-L-LR caliber and the 9422 M XTR Classic in .22 Win. Mag. Caliber. Both are the earlier variant with 22 1/2″ barrels, smooth (non checkered) satin finished, pistol grip extended forearm walnut stocks. Stocks also have the fluted comb with crescent steel butt plates and curved finger levers. Manufactured for one year only in 1985.
These are unblemished, new and un-fired specimens and are the nicest examples of the 9422 model manufactured. If there is any interest, send me a PM and I’ll take detailed photos otherwise they go to Denver. Sorry, the original boxes have gone missing.
Thanks……..
