OfflineMy projects have been on hold for a bit due to a torn rotator cuff but I finally got this one finished up. Way overdue……… The lighting doesn’t due my CCH much justice but I am pleased with the outcome. I have not decided if I will get it checkered or not. Your thoughts on checkering?

OfflineNice job! Thanks for posting the pictures. I have a soft spot for the first models, they just look clean and simple to me and a neat pairing with an early 1892 or 1894.

OfflineThanks for the compliments guys!
I started the next project, it’s a first rifle for my grandson. Winchester model 1904 needing the full monty. It’s a first year production so the bore was toast from black powder. I installed the barrel liner and have the barrel polished up through 180. Working on that miserable Gumwood stock now. I will post a few pics when it’s finished.
