I’m starting to really enjoy everybody’s opinion so I just wanted to hear your thoughts on this 62A

I can not find a Marlin 336 button on my calculator.
You really need to update your calculator.

In the first listing of sold items: $10,600 for a 62A Gallery Special in the box??? Wow
I stayed up until the end and as a fan of all gallery guns (and have had people aggressively try to get me to part with them ) I can’t believe that one.
It was a mint piece in the wrapper with the red letters but that is a pile of money.
An older one is listed now with the correct box starting at $11000 plus.
Gotta love gunbroker
Holy cow. As a poor collector, I started acquiring rimfires a few years ago because I felt less defeated than my attempts to acquire various leverguns of similar condition. I’ve got four 62A’s, two of which are gallery guns (one roll stamped) and one in box (not NIB, but VG). I would never expect anything like this for any of mine, far from it, but good to see that there’s value in these little rifles.
Although it wouldn’t change my love for them either way. I didn’t buy them to resell. Admittedly I do fondle them quite often.

Add to this that Gun Broker is going to start charging tax. That’s another 6% or more, depending on where you live. I think that might be 8% or more in Calif. Personally, I do not do auctions. I do Guns Intl. You can dicker with the sellers. Big Larry
In California ransom tax is different for each County. Where I live it is 7.75%. But….In some cases Dealers have established a sales tax by state only so it may not be exactly correct.
