Ok… there’s sort of a plan…. I talked to Elliot Archilla today… he used to collect solid frames. He thinks he has the right period parts (sights & hangers) I need to put it back together. Unfortunately, the barrel is for a second model, but it does have a great bore. I doubt I’ll ever find a nice first model .22 short barrel out there.

I’m glad to see that you picked that up. It deserves to b resurrected correctly, and I’m sure you’ll do it justice. I do agree that a first model barrel will be hard to acquire, with so many in the short, being shot out. But we never know!
