Hi. I was in a store today and they had this second model 1890 with casehardened receiver. Serial number 16439 which i think is 1892 manufacture? 22 Long

Theyre asking $595 for it but wasn’t sure if i should jump on it ir not. The stock is in poor shape IMO.

I would not be inclined to purchase that rifle for any amount of $$$ due to its rather bleak condition.  Per the PR records, it was manufactured December 31st, 1892.
