I am hoping someone can steer me in the correct direction. I recently acquired a very nice 63 at auction (very few rounds through it). Upon inspection the very edge of the chamber appeared ‘nicked’ and would not chamber a round. No problem cleaned up the chamber only to discover that the firing pin was broken hmmmmm. After measuring I have realized that the bolt is most likely from a 1903 22WRM. Some how some where, somebody put the wrong bolt in this gun. So here is my dilemma- I can find all kinds of 03 bolts but not a 63 to be had. Any one with info on who may have a bolt would be appreciated. Yes I have tried all of the usuals, Numrich, Liberty tree, homestead – no one seems to have these. Thank You!

Thank you all. After ordering 3 bolts on eBay – all miss labeled as 03 bolts – one received different than pictured – second so badly corroded that could not be used and finally BINGO received an a real bonafied 63 bolt. Gun now functions flawlessly! Had it to the range today – found out it likes 40 gr round nose and ran like a champ! Thank you all for steering me in the right direction. Next challenge -1905 Winchester.

Great news, sweet little rifle when it runs right. Glad it finally worked out for you.

Forty grain solid round nose is what I use in my Model 63.It works well when clean. However ,after about 200 to 250 rounds it needs a good cleaning, or I will start to have problems.
Forty grain solids are what I use for hunting .
