1890 case colored?|Winchester .22 Rim Fire|Forum|Winchester Collector

I have a nice little 1890 serial 67304. 22 SH  I believe this is the second model. I was told this rifle has the case colored receiver. I’m not so sure! There is plenty of finish on the barrel although mostly a brown patina but the receiver, well there are no colors left even if it was originally case colored, but it looks different than the brown patina of the barrel which suggests it may be CC’d. I just dont have the experience of spotting old CC’d finishes I’m afraid. I am thinking of selling the rifle and of course the difference in value of a CC frame versus a blue is substantial. How can I tell if this rifle does in fact have the case colored receiver.
