Hello I have a 1890 22 Long serial number 380716. I am wanting to know what I have. I recently started look into this firearm and it seems to have some pretty interesting history. Any insight would be great. Thank you, Mike

Hello Mike,
The s/n tells us that your 3rd variation Model 1890 Slide-action rifle was manufactured in June of the year 1908. Unfortunately, it is just outside of the serial number range that can be lettered by the Cody Firearms Museum (CFM) records office.
