OfflineHere’s one that Henry and I came to terms on, after a very friendly and fun negotiating period where, he set the terms after we exchanged pictures back and forth, and completed a nice trade deal, that we both are very happy with. If you’ve never dealt with Henry Mero, you don’t know what you’re missing out on with this friendly gentleman, along with his wife Brenda, as I know many here have. With the exchange rate involved and Henry spot on with his evaluations, as a very astute collector, if a person can’t trust Henry then maybe get out of collecting! IMO! LOL!

Winchester M-1894, #131488, mfg. 1901, .30 WCF. 26″ 1/2 Oct. Barrel. Half Magazine, Take Down, “DELUXE”, Pistol Grip Stock, W/Checkering, Cody Letter.
Thanks Again, Hank!

Naturally the pictures don’t do it any justice, with this time of years, sun glare and such, as the afternoon sun out on the patio would be better, but the schedule won’t dictate that. The full Rifle pics had too many shadows.
So trust me when I tell you that Henry put this Rifle well over 90%, at a minimum, and he’s absolutely correct. To say the least. With it’s few honest handling marks, I feel it’s a screamer! Al again I apologize for not carrying it into the OGCA/WACA Show, as I had a few things going on and will try to bring it, down the road, to let you give me you’re thoughts on it!

That’s a beauty of a rifle! And it sounds like a fun deal. Always nice when deals are win-win.
Amen Steve! It seems like a lot of the sellers out there want to make a mortgage payment off every sale!
Congrats Anthony that one is a beauty and in my opinion looks way better than the one on GB! Plus, if Henry changed the stocks out he would tell you 😀

OfflineYou guy’s are right, it really is spectacular, and when holding these fine older specimens as some can attest to, they have a very fine sleek feel to them, as not only the fine custom wood on it, but the design itself, has a really light, fine and sleek feel to them.
Being in the T/D Configuration, and the 1/2 Oct. barrel, makes it just the right balance to my liking!
No wonder Al you have pursued these for a long time, as the two on you’re table are every bit this quality and special, with detailed Letters that are hard to come by during these early years.
