I found an old Winchester catalog. Are there collectors for this?

I’ve seen one at a Morphy auction go for $1700, its all about condition.

Apparently I found a little treasure there.

The condition is not bad at all. All pages are present with no cracks or kinks. On the title there was apparently a sticker that was removed and there are rust stains from the clips on all pages. But the pages themselves are clean.

Maybe that’s because the two-part loading lever of the second model can’t be bend that easily?

Yes, but it was odd to show a ’95 with a PG.

Apparently even then the communication between marketing and product development did not work.

Then they just have to correct all catalogs with a stamp and disappoint the customers.

I think that was mentioned in the 1895 book.

I pretty sure its mentioned in the first edition of the “Winchester Book” by Madis.

I’d love to have one of those 1st Model Pistol Grips or the even rarer 2nd Model Pistol Grip 95.

Stefan, since they’re not collectable and worthless. You can just ship it to me free of charge and I’ll give it to my son. He needs a new coloring book! Laugh

Wink If you find any more as well, I’ve got a table with a short leg that needs propping up.

I’d hate for things to go to waste.

Good Idea. I try it on my table and it fits perfectly Wink

But kidding aside.

I think the catalog belongs to a collector. I actually only collect weapons and ammunition and rather less paper.
However, I don’t want it to become an object of speculation, but really add to a collection.
So I’m giving it to a collector at a reasonable price.

PM me if you are interested.

The catalog has arrived back in the USA after 120 years.
