Anyone advise if WACA had a trapper designated by winchester or sold as a door prize at a show? This box is stamped with the words WACA.

Here’s another example. I’ve run into these at gun shows before.
Winchester WACA M94 Trapper Carbine… for sale at Gunsamerica.com: 912193956

As it turns out, WACA has had several different production runs manufactured over the past many years – Winchester Commemoratives | Winchester Collector
I believe that the Trapper that Rick is referring to was in the 1981 production run.

Bert’s correct, as I’d expect…I have one..DOM 1981 and they were serial numbered, followed by WACA membership number. Mine is 4988107-304 16” round bbl, full mag, butt stock stamped ‘W.A.C.A.’, Rcvr engraved with #WACA logo 30-30 and sold originally for $249.50 on 12/8/81 …I have the receipt from Costa Mesa…

That one belonged to an early WACA member, #181…because it was sold specifically to a WACA member so it makes me wonder if this was an estate thing…always disappointed to see it happen when any legacy Winchester, no matter the age/value, “leaves home” but life goes on..
