I went in a shop today, and was surprised to see all this vintage ammo! I got every box! 25 Remingtons and 30-06’s. All boxes are full. 6 boxes of 25’s, and 6 boxes of 30-06’sMVC-007S.JPGImage EnlargerMVC-008S.JPGImage Enlarger

Cool! I’ve seen rifles in 30 and 32 Remington but the 25 is a new one on me. Congrats!

We had a Steven’s model 425 lever action that was chambered for the 25 Remington. It was a pleasure to shoot. They also chambered that model for the 30, 32, and 35 Remington.

Interesting, all I’ve seen were Remington 8’s or 81’s. Don’t see many Stevens rifles around here.

You don’t see many 425’s anywhere. They were really a very good lever action. Remind me of a Marlen. The lever market was pretty crowded when the 425 was introduced. I doubt they made very many.
