Bob,
Fellows,
Under the left corner of the message box you should see “Upload Attachments”. Click it and then in the bottom left corner of the “Select Files” window, click the “Add Files” option. and then browse to the location on your PC where your picture is stored. Click on it, then click “Open”. Your picture will then be listed in the Select Files box under the “Filename”. The next step is to click the “Start Upload”, and after it has finished uploading, click the “Submit Reply”

If all of you could check your Permissions in your profile, open one of the forums and then View the permissions. I’m guessing the people that don’t see “Upload Attachment” when they try to post only have one green check mark for upload Avatar and the rest are red X’s and the people who can upload have green check marks for more than one like upload photos to posts.

Another bug I see is I can’t edit my post even if its the last post. I don’t see any button or means to edit. I can only delete it.

I found the bug in for the Edit button. If you select “Reverse sort the list of posts in a topic” in your display options you don’t have a Edit button. Also when click on the URL in the email notice of a new post to a Subscribed forum and the topic has more than one page, it sends you to the first page, not the most recent. I also sends you to the first page after you submit a reply with “Reverse sort the list of posts in a topic” selected.

Just checked and no change here in this reply box or in my permissions either.
Thanks,
Brad
Brad,
I just updated your member status. I discovered that when the WACA membership data base was merged with the former WACA forum membership list that a fair number of duplicate members were created, and that the new forum access and uploading rights are tied to the WACA membership user name and list. In your case, I updated the duplicate entry to match.
What this means in a nutshell, is that unless you are a current WACA member, you will only have “guest” access rights to the forums. This was mentioned several months ago when I first mentioned that the forums were going to be updated.

My permissions haven’t changed yet and I still can’t upload images or links. Thanks for all your efforts regardless. I’m sure you will get it figured out.
If I have to start over as a new forum member I want to be The Waco Kid…

P.S.
I saw the 40-90 Sharps High Wall again the other day and after further inspection I noticed it had a custom 30 3/4″ barrel. Too bad considering it once had a 32″ barrel.

Being a computer dummy , it was just luck being able to post pics with Berts step by step instruction. Pics were not taken by me , but with an old coarse grain ( pixel ?) camera and must have been small file size. So I will hold off buying a new camera , until it is established how to reduce file size enough to attach pics. But this has to be a better pic solution than trying to set up a middleman photo site account.
I am finding the print on the new forum quite small for my aging eyes, although I realize that all youngsters with good sight love the print the Bible on a pinhead mentality , especially the package designers.
Bert,
Any success in getting permissions changed?
