When I see what you guys bring home this is not much to talk about but anyway, I like it….

A friend of mine bought a Winchester 1894 carbine and didn´t want this saddle holster so I took care of itLaugh

I recently bought a 1903 vintage M1894 SRC and the stock was branded. I also got a similar scabbard marked with the same brand. I will never separate the two.   Big Larry

I really agree with you, Big Larry but in my opinion it is better that I took care of it than if he just throw it away.

Unfortunately there are people out there who are not thinking like you and me.

Hi Hombre,

I just picked up one very similar to yours here in Australia, is your marked or stamped Winchester? Mine is not marked.

Hi Stefan,

I’m still waiting on my camera to be fixed and will post a photo of my saddle holster as soon as I can. I found a photo of one of these in my copy of The Standard Catalogue of Winchester by David Kowalski, page 34. I scanned it and attached it below.

Here is one I picked up several months ago.  It has a stamp on it that says:

Eubanks Leather

Boise, Idaho

Hi Stefan,

Sorry for the delay in getting that photo of my saddle holster, it took 5 weeks to get my camera back.

Hi Graham,

No problem at all…. I am very late with my answer because I have just been coming back to Sweden from a trip to Japan… Sorry, too!

We seems to have the same saddle holster…. Interesting isn´t it….

Thank you very much for your picture Graham. I really appreciate it!

Best,

Stefan
