After a short absence I just reacquired my standard 26” octagon barrel 94 made in 1899 that letters with the special order Lyman front sight & shotgun butt. The 3 Leaf express rear sight & Lyman DA code tang sight probably didn’t come from the factory on it but it sure looks it. Excellent bore also. Nothing rare or fancy but some guns you regret parting with before they’ve left the driveway.

I like it.  The shotgun butt adds a lot of appeal for me. This is a rifle to enjoy – I’m sure you have and will.

Thank you limestone & Steve. It had just enough appeal to want it back.

I like it, especially the shotgun butt and tang sight. Must have been a pretty smooth talker to take that one away from you, glad she’s home now. If you get the urge to do something silly again I’ll make room for a rifle like yours. What caliber is it?

Thanks Mike. I see I forgot to post the caliber. It’s 30WCF & I had several 94’s in that caliber so for whatever reason I agreed to selling it.

I prob won’t be silly again but I’ll keep you in mind.

Took it with to the range today. Surprising how much the little piece of ivory on the front Lyman no4 hunting shows up. Amazing front sight. My favorite.
Here’s my 50 yd shots. The first two were bench rest and almost identical & the other two standing. I’ll take all them in a hunting situation..
