Over the past couple of months I bought these SRC’s.  The top one in the photos is a 38-55, the middle one is a 32-40 with a Nickel Steel barrel from 1906, and the bottom one is a 32 W.S. With a Lyman 21 sight.  Was never really excited about the carbines until I bought the 32-40.  I always preferred to use the rifles when I am hunting.  I will be using these this year I’m sure! The 38-55 is from 1910 and the 32 W.S. From 1927.79953085-4719-4860-92B6-55971DEA506A.jpegImage EnlargerAFAFEB5E-DF60-4BF5-9982-F328E6C59D96.jpegImage Enlarger

I always enjoy seeing everyone’s guns.

 Thanks,

Nick

The Model 1892 was not ever chambered for the 32-40 cartridge, but the Model 1894 was.

I think it’s obvious that eakerherman meant to type in .32-20.  I’m sure he knows his 92’s.

Good morning,

I have added the SN and caliber of each into my survey data of the 1892’s.  Thanks so much.  BUT…. can I get more info on each please?  A series of photos of the stamped writing on each rifle would be fantastic.  My email is [email protected]   Let me know if you have specific questions about any of them.

Very cool.  Beautiful in fact.  Loved seeing them.  I actually prefer a carbine over a rifle.  I love the half mag. on the .38/55 and I really enjoy a Lyman No. 21 on a carbine.
