I just ran the serial number and found it was a 46. I am looking for a vintage buttstock because this one was repaired,

August 1946 to be precise. You will need a pre-1948 butt stock.

If the repair is solid I’d let it be, part of the gun’s history and character. I like it, seems like flatbands are coming out of the woodwork this week.
