Found an original 75 Target to replace/complement my “shooter grade” 75 Target today. Nice enough gun; very little wear on the bluing and few handling marks on the wood. Only issue is a loose bolt handle but I’ll address that at a later date. SN 86416, grooved receiver.

Update-

Finally got around to running a patch down the bore and wiping all the fingerprints and dust off this rifle. I wish I could take the pics to do this 65 year old rifle justice. Yep, I’m pretty proud to add this rifle to my growing .22 collection.

Larry-

I agree. This one actually works OK and I have an extra original around here somewhere. Easy fix. I generally shoot the reproduction mags but have one or two that don’t feed as well as originals.
