Hi all! Just picked this up the other day. It’s a model 94 30wcf made in 1946, serial number 139xxxx. It’s in real nice shape with no rust and a good share of the gluing remaining. The best part is I only paid $500 for it!! I am pretty tickled.20170318_111904.jpgImage Enlarger20170421_092654.jpgImage Enlarger

Nice looking early Flat-band!  If you do not mind, please send me a PM with the complete serial number so that I can add it to the research survey.  It should have the old style knurled (checkered) hammer versus the slightly later production serrated hammer… please confirm that for me.

Couches do add a lot of character haha.

Bert I sent you a pm in regards to the firearm.

I am starting to become addicted to Winchester. I also have a model 1892 32wcf made in 1899 with a special order 28 inch octagon barrel, got the Cody Letter to prove it. Twobit (Michael) added it to his survey

I think Big Larry and 30-30 should check to see if the serial numbers on their couches are consecutive.

I don’t know about the couch serial number, but my closest M94 is # 1,416,238 X, the “X” is for a duplicate serial number. I am not paranoid. It is a flatband from 1947 and is a 32 WS.  Big Larry
