Larry, RIA has a couple of thumb triggers in their upcoming auction. Unfortunately they are in lots with a bunch of other random rifles and all of them look a little rough. I bid on a thumb trigger a number of months ago but it also was in a lot that I didn’t much care about and one of the rifles in the lot wasn’t C&R (meaning I pay a premium to receive it here in Los Angeles) and the price of the lot rose quickly went above my comfort level.
Just thought I would mention them for interest if nothing else:

Larry,
That is a nice looking 1906 – congrats!

Thanks guys. I had one many years ago, somewhere around 75 to 80% and my BIL owns it today. Most of my 22’s have come easy, and most are nice specimens, but TT’s as a whole are beaters and very elusive. I’ll keep on the lookout. I will probably have to take a beater, but no broken stocks. Thanks again guys. Big Larry

Lots of blue on that 06, Larry. Wood looks good too. Very nice. Are you planning on shooting this one?

Yes, this one looks to be a great shooter. Funny, I have a M61, a M62 and a M62-A and none shoot as well as my $145 Rossi 62 SAC with the 16 1/2″ bbl. It must be the chrome plating. Actually, I do shoot most of my 22’s. My M60-A Sporter and my M47 are super accurate. Not like my M52’s though. I have 13 M75’s and have never fired one. I also have a M1885 SS with all the bells and whistles. It is a 22 short and I will take it to the range when it warms up here. Lots of snow on the ground. Big Larry
