Nice, very nice. Can’t say I’ve seen another and I really like the chambering and PG. Appears to be an honest, extremely well-cared-for carbine. IMHO it don’t have to be fancy to be special. Congrats!

Thanks Mike, I really love the odd stuff. It appears all original, no sanded stock or touched up blue. And give the fact it has the smooth pistol grip it was a no brainer. Had to pass on an 86 for it but what the heck. some times you have to become diversed!

Just picked this up. And it letters
Nice rifle for sure. I think it was one of the better offerings at Amoskeag. Could I please get detailed images of the upper tang, barrel address, and caliber stamp to enter into my survey? [email protected]
Thanks

Nice find! Seldom seen PG carbine, scarce in all models!
True story regarding how scarce it is to find a carbine with a PG, especially a 92. I got too hung up on checkered guns and didn’t pay enough attention to that fact – ended up selling this little jewel way too cheap when I downsized. It was a 38 WCF and both the capped pistol grip and rifle butt lettered. Just something about the plain wood and the PG which is really appealing to me. Live and learn!
