Hi Steff

That’s a pretty neat jungle-cat gun.  Does it have any special express sights, recoil pad or any other features like some of the other exported, big-game 1895s?

Hi Brad,

 

nothing special – but the name of a formaly Maharadscha region in India “Rutlam” and the number 20 is engraved at the barrel. I think the sight was a express sight and was changed from a collector in the past. It have a steel shotgun buttplate.

Thanks for posting more pictures.  Rick Hill had an article in The Winchester Collector, Winter 2014, about foreign dealer marked Winchesters, this looks like it is right up his alley of interest.
