    I AM RELATIVELY NEW TO THE FORUM ALTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN A LIFE MEMBER OF W.A.C.A. FOR SOME TIME . I DON,T MESS MUCH WITH THE COMPUTER BUT I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO RELENT AND LEARN THIS THING IF I WANT TO STAY IN TOUCH WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD. I COLLECT AND TRADE MOSTLY WIN. MOD. 94,s, ALTHOUGH I AM ALSO A LIFE MEMBER OF THE MARLIN COLLECTORS. I HAVE QUITE A FEW PRETTY SPECIAL 94,s THAT I WILL SHARE OVER THE NEXT WHILE AND HOPEFULLY EXCHANGE SOME THOUGHTS AND IDEAS WITH THE EXPERTS ON  THE BEAUTIFUL WINCHESTER MODEL 94 .                                                                                                                                                                                    I HAVE IN MY COLLECTION MOD.’94 SER#601 . A STANDARD  26 in. OCT. BBL. 38-55 . THIS GUN SHIPPED NOV. 22 1894 IT IS IN EXC. RESTORED COND. ALSO AND PROBABLY THE CROWN JEWEL IN MY COLLECTION IS SER# 15333, IT IS A 28” OCT. BBL. FULL MAG. PISTOL GRIP AND CHECKERED STOCK W/CRESCENT BUTT THIS RIFLE IS  FACTORY  ” CASE COLORED” , AND THE ONLY 1 THAT JESSIE AND I COULD FIND IN THIS CONFIGURATION IN THE RECORDS. IT IS IN EXC. COND. , I DO BELIEVE THE CASE COLOR HAS BEEN RE STORED. I WILL TRY TO GET SOME PICS. IF I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO SEND THEM.

   Bert        #601 has the 10 o,clock screw   I also have ser.# 1688 in the same configuration and like a dummy just recently sold, actually traded for the case colored 94, ser# 1320 which is a 1st mod. with26″ r.b. f.m. and pistol grip in 38-55 that shipped dec. 20 1894. oh well can,t have em all   hiway
