Although to late to letter here,s the info on a couple of ’94,s from My rack 1st; ser#602387 is 20″ round barrel rifle in 30wcf cal.,with the proper 8 3/8″ forearm , full mag.and crescent butt plate. The rifle is in very nice condition but the receiver is mostly brown patina. The gun has no other special features.  #2; ser#992031 is a 26″ rnd. bbl. rifle in 30 cal., full mag., crescent butt with a “trapdoor” butt plate. The gun has no other special features and is in very nice cond. with app. 95% orig. finish. I would sure like to findthe proper cleaning rod for this gun. Some time I’ll have to figure out how to get pictures onto the site.    Harry

A little odd indeed, I like them both. Don’t recall seeing a 94 with a trapdoor butt plate. Is your 20″ gun a rifle or a carbine?

I’ve got a similar gun to the ’94 short rifle.  It is SN 580553, in 30WCF with the same 8 3/8″ forearm, crescent butt plate and full mag.  But it is also a 1/2 octagon barrel.  Out of range SN wise to letter, but like it anyway!
