How’s this for a neat cowboy gun! Circa 1922 .30 W.C.F. ’94 baby carbine w/ 16" barrel, semi deluxe style "I" checking, pistol grip stock w/ grip cap and trap-door rifle butt-plate. 8" forearm. Special ordered w/ no sling ring. King style 22 B "Spark Point" front sight.

It’s not mine (yet)!!!

To find something like this, I might be willing to buy a carbine. It will go real good with your 18" one.

Thanks Shortie. I hope I can get the owner to negotiate! BTW, the front sight is a King style 20 B "Spark Point" Gold Bead vs. a 22 B which I previously stated. It has a pat. date of Jan. 16, ’12. A little more scrubbing removed enough original crud to uncover the rest of the inscription.

The longhorn steer does it for me more than the sights. 😀

Yeah, I agree. Supposedly came out of Arizona somewhere.

Here is another special order 16" baby that doesn’t have the character of the cowboy gun but at least this one is mine!

Me too. That’s an example where a custom job doesn’t detract anything for my tastes (when it’s period). That’s a neat one for sure Rick. Pistol grip and crescent butt on that is a cool look.

Other short carbine is nice too!

Brad

Hope you get it! It’s a fine little carbine!
