Well I said goodbye to my 9417 for a year or so. When the factory closed I looked around to find one while they could still be found.
The work will be done by a member of the American Cstom GunMakers Guild. Engraving and case colors and stock work are all part of the finished project.
This gun will compliment 9422m "Sound of Liberty" gun completed for me in 2008 by Jim Wark and 9422m trapper "Light of Liberty" finished in 2012 by Doug Turnbull.
This new project could be the last of the "Liberty Guns" for me unless some of you can think of other Liberty themes you wouldn’t mind sharing..

I am surprised you didn’t do one called
"Standing For Liberty"
That would be a really good theme I think.

I think that is a great idea. What images would tell the story?
I have a 45lc trapper that could be the basis for a future project.
Spacing my projects about three years apart is about the only way I can
afford them anywhay.
Seems two heads are better than one..
