This one I haven’t bought,(yet) but probably will. It does letter .32 cal., 15″, nickeled, etc., ser#382029. Just trying to get My head around a value on this thing. Any ideas? It’s raining here to-day so I had to take the pictures inside, best I can do. It kind of fits with some of My other trappers

Henry,
Pictures are are out of focus on most of the pictures so can’t really see it good. You want to take pictures of the gun in sections so you can see the detail. One of the stock , receiver, forearm and so on and show the markings. Check your photos before you upload and retake them if they don’t turn out.

From what I can see I like it. Interesting in many aspects. Pics are getting better, Henry. I appreciate the effort, it’s a challenge for me, too. Especially considering the talent we have around here, they make great pics look easy.

Does it have a letter with it? I bet it will show it was shipped with 382028 with the same specs.

Bob it does have a letter but it doesn’t mention any other gun. But that would make sense if #382028 has the same specs. I just bought Mod. ’94 15″ trapper Ser#42770, #42771 is listed with the BATF as antique, but not mentioned on the factory letter. I guess 42770 was never submitted to BATF. It sure would be cool to find these consecutive ser#’s in the same configuration though.

Henry,
The gun had to gone back since its proofed and its been refinished. Assuming the gun matches the letter I would guess its in the $10,000 range. There are only a hand full of 32 trappers so finding a value is almost impossible.
