Nice case colors in this one if it’s original.

Rick from the pitting I’m seeing on the barrel and lower tang I’d be hard pressed to suggest the CC is original, also the wood has characteristics of heavy use as well.

Yes I saw that Darren and I agree. The condition of parts don’t match up with the case colors imo, especially when the colors are usually the first to wear from carry with only traces left.

Had another look on the computer now with bigger screen. I zoomed in and the wood on the forearm has dings and scratches as mentioned that stop right at the end of the top of forearm that aren’t following thru to the barrel and not a mark on the barrel in that area. Coincidence? I don’t think so. The pitting and overall condition of the wood and barrel doesn’t match the case color which gets worn first in most cases or faded or gone. How could this seller possibly think it’s original and advertise as same.

Nice bore, from what we can see. Components inside the receiver covered with gunk, outside is pristine. This rifle is starting to look like a Frankenchester; so many parts in different stages of wear and finish. If I had the misfortune of owning this gun her name would be Sybil.
