Got my new issue a few hours ago and have finished reading it. WOW!Congratulations Brad Dunbar!
I agree. It’s full of interesting and well-written articles.
I really look forward to getting the magazines. We’re fortunate to have such a high quality publication. For me, the magazine subscription and access to the archive of all previous issues is worth every penny and more of the cost of my WACA membership.
Thanks to Brad, Rob and all those who contribute to the magazine!
Guys,
As usual, I have yet to receive my copy via the mails. I just don’t know where it goes nor why it takes so long to get to me, if it ever does get to me. I hope whoever purloins it in the postal system enjoys it! Last time I waited a seeming eternity, then got another copy mailed from Trish. A month after that, my copy showed up in the mail. You guys only make it worse with your discussions of how good it is!

Tim you need to go to your local post office and see if they can track down the problem. It is amazing what goes on at the postal service. My brother retired from the USPS and tells me horror stories all the time. It could be something simple like your carrier/post office really doesn’t want to deal with it. A lot of mail gets thrown into a stack somewhere and is dealt with as they see fit. This used to happen to my medications. I’d bitch and they would find it in a day or so.
cwatcher, and others that are interested,
Yes, I have talked and my carrier will look to see if it is squirreled away at our office, but it is most unlikely. Our office has had much of its man hours removed to a level higher, and mail comes in already sorted for delivery. He and I suspect it is temporarily “lost” at the office above ours.
Dad was postmaster here for many years, retiring in 1979 or 1980. At that time it was a Class A office with top tier sales, etc. Then years later began the great reorganizations and more and more manhours and functions were removed to be accomplished elsewhere. Thus a letter mailed here in town to another address in town takes a minimum of two days as it is not sorted locally, but goes to the next echelon for sorting and is returned. Often it can take three days for a letter to go from a town address to another town address. I suspect dad would be spinning in his grave if he knew how things worked now. We almost lost our office entirely a year or so ago when there was an effort to “streamline” the service and reduce costs further.
Anyway, I will wait more before contacting Trish for another copy!

Good job! Wanted to list my favorite articles but can’t recall any I didn’t like. Brad, Rob, et al, you’ve really outdone yourselves. Thanks for all the hard work. I’m going to need to read this one again.
