An early 1895 recently came into the shop with a broken upper tang.  I thought there might be an interest in seeing how that repair is made.  Mark

Thanks Guys!  That’s certainly not my favorite repair.  It’s a lot of pressure knowing if I screw it up, I’ve ruined a receiver.  I was certainly relieved when it turned out OK.  Mark

Good job, glad it turned out well. I think we’ve all seen the brazed-up “horse wreck” repairs. I can only imagine the challenge “repairing” that ‘repair” presents. 

Congrats on the rain, couldn’t help but notice how happy that “background noise” made you.
