OfflineHi everyone
I am in the process of doing a restoration on a pre 64 model 94. Is there any information availabe that tells what the thread pitch is for the bolts and screws. I have had to drill out some of the screws because they where rusted if place. I would like to chace the threads before replacing the screws. My thread gauge does not go down to the extra fine thread sizes that where used. The screw that I am concerned about is the hammer screw. The replacement screw is appears to be No 10 with a finer thread than a 40 pitch, mayber a 48 pitch. The bolt will not thread into the receiver. The threads in the receiver may be buggered up so I feel the need to chace the threads.
