Anyone know what size hole to drill when tapping 3/16 after. Do you drill the same size drill bit or a little smaller ?

A #21 is the perfect size, 5/32″ is a couple thou. smaller.  This would be for a 10-32 screw…..

Seems small, but I could be wrong….. Deer hunting in Missouri so I can’t measure it for you.

Why worry about drilling & drill bits?  A radiator hose clamp solves the problem.

Well that might be the fix Clarence. Thought somebody might know. Maybe a good epoxy will work also.

Erin

Erin the 5/32 drill bit was the correct size to drill before tapping 3/16-36 for the front upper small tang screw. Thanks for the help.
