I am looking for a replacement take down barrel in 38-55 for my early 1900’s rifle. Prefer either an octagonal or 1/2 octagonal 1/2 round.
Any suggestions?

If your lucky enough to find one on gunbroker or other auction sites that may be the only place to find an original. I used to see them come up for auction but they were few and far between. You might consider having someone make one.

Their barrels are newly manufactured but look like originals. OK if you want a good shooter.
