Old West Snake Oil Pre64 #2 ( with red tint )|Restoration, Repair and Maintenance|Forum|Winchester Collector

Gentlemen,

I have used Snake Oil for a long , long time with very good results.

The newer #2 product has a slight Winchester red ( pre ‘64 ) tint added to it.

Has anyone had experience with it, and has the product in any way caused wood to be changed in finish and color as to be damaging a collector gun to be considered refinished ? 

Any input, positive or negative, would be appreciated.
