Hello,

I recently acquired a Model 94 30-30 built in 1970 per serial number. The trigger stop is intermittent and will let the trigger move to the fire position without the finger lever being held against it. I am wanting to know if the safety catch or the trigger is the most common part that would be worn to cause this issue. I have thoroughly cleaned the gun and inspected all parts but I am not sure if anything is worn excessively. The trigger also has a very light pull force to it (hair trigger).

Thanks to everyone for their help as I would like to get this gun safe and operational to be able to shoot on a regular basis.
