Gentlemen, first post here. Please allow me to take advantage of your expertise, particularly in the area of stock finish. I have purchased a model 74 off of GunBroker, it should be here tomorrow. The seller states, “the metal has been re-blued and a better job could not be had”. I would like to get the stock to match the nice condition of the barrel. I am looking forward to doing this job myself but do not know the best way to go about it. Any advice would be appreciated. The gun was made in 1954 or 55.
Thanks,
Bill
