OfflineThe standard rifle stocks were the same length regardless of the specific cartridge chambering. A Pachmayr recoil pad installed on a Model 70 22 Hornet is 99.999% likely an aftermarket alteration.
I personally fail to comprehend why anyone would think a recoil pad was necessary to tame the savage recoil generated by the mighty 22 Hornet cartridge!
