I’ve owned this Model 94 for some time now and have often thought about restoring it but something has always stopped me. I think it’s the fascination I have with the markings and carvings on it. Can someone tell me anything about the gun? I have often thought that it may have belonged to a mountain man or a trapper that spent too much time alone. It is ’94’ saddle ring carbine, 20 inch BBL, serial #314843, made in 1906, with carvings of Moose and Moose antlers along with what I believe to be pine cones or bushes. It also has a date carved into the stock (6/27/40). There are initials carved into the forearm that read JGF. There are carvings on both sides but I’m not able to show all of the pic’s. The gun is also missing the front sight blade and the rear sight and the ring portion of the saddle ring. Hmmm…To restore or not?
Thanks for any help,
Gary

I am new to this so I don’t know how to answer that question. The $50 for membership was taken from my account on 1/7/21 but I don’t see that information in my profile or account. where should I look?

You should be receiving a package in the mail with your membership car/number. With your membership number, I can change (update) your status on the forums. Give it a few more days, and then if you have not received your mailed package, contact Trish Smith.
