I have one of the Commemorative Saddle Ring Carbines that I had to do some stock repairs on. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware that when you remove the stock on one of these the FCG disassembles and I am not aware of how to get it back together. Does anyone know how to assemble the FCG on any of the newer 1895 reproductions that are made in Japan?
Most of the available youtube videos look to be for classic 1895s and not moderns, however I bet they’re very similar. Try watching a few of those and see if they appear to line up.

They aren’t at all similar. Already looked over YouTube.
That’s too bad…there’s got to be something out there but I’m unaware. Do you use other platforms like Reddit (I know, I know…)? I imagine the Winchester and gunsmithing subs or forums might be more “up to date” on the modern ones….
