I’ve just become the proud owner of a Winchester 94 AE with a brushed chrome barrel and action.  The gun is 25 years old and has never been fired and is in excellent condtion.  Can anyone offer advise on how to keep the brushed chrome barrel and action clean and preserved?  No intention of ever firing it.

Thanks for any and all advise.

Just wipe it down

If you can’t convince them, confuse them

Nothing… if you gun is truly in excellent condition, it does not need to be cleaned or preserved.  Brushed chrome is a very durable finish, and at most, it only needs wiped down with a clean cloth rag.
