Hi all,

I want to replace the Spring Cover Screw on my Model 1886 Cartridge Loading Port with a original screw, (yet to be acquired). Are there any special techniques to be aware of, can the old screw simply be backed out and a new one installed, or will I need to perform some disassembly beforehand?

Thanks,
Marty

Marty

Just take it out, the loading gate base, loading gate and spring all come out as one assembly.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your reply…I didn’t want to do anything and wind up with loose internal parts.

I sent you an email also.

Best Regards,
Marty
