Hi all,

I want to replace the Spring Cover Screw on my Model 1886 Cartridge Loading Port with a original screw, (yet to be acquired). Are there any special techniques to be aware of, can the old screw simply be backed out and a new one installed, or will I need to perform some disassembly beforehand?

Just take it out, the loading gate base, loading gate and spring all come out as one assembly.
