Hey everyone,

I am pretty new to the Winchester collecting game and made what I think is a rookie mistake. I just purchased an original Winchester 1894 manufactured in 1906 chambered in .30-30. The rifle is unfortunately missing a firing pin as I was so taken aback that I forgot to actually look at it, and the price was too good! Is there any resources for finding an original firing pin for this rifle or is it a lost cause?

P.S. – This is my first time using the forums, so I may not be using it right so if there’s any advice for that feel free to leave some!

Thanks!

There are plenty of places to look, especially for the 94.

I’d try eBay and then in no particular order the following:

Gun Broker, Guns International, Homestead Gun Parts, Jack First Gun Parts, Numrich Gun Parts, Midwest Gun Works, Dixie Gun Works, Winchester Bob, etc.

Sincerely,

Maverick

Thanks Maverick,

I checked out Dixie’s website and there’s no picture for it, I assume the part is for a pre-64 Winchester but I’ll get in contact with them too!

Thanks!

Homestead usually has original and reproduction firing pins in stock, have also had good luck with Numrich. Is the firing pin missing or is the tip broken?

The pin is missing. I’ll check both out! Thank you very much!
