Hello the Fire,

I have an 1873 carbine sight that the base is broken on.

Does anyone repair these? I believe it could be welded, but a new base is probably the best way to go.

Any help is appreciated.

Post a picture of it so we can see how bad it is and what would be the best way to fix it.

Will have to wait until Sunday Bob,

I don’t know enough about that kind of stuff. Will have to have wife do this for me.

Look for it Sunday late afternoon or early evening.(have a Cowboy shoot to attend)
