How much play do you have in the carrier? push it up until you fell it hit the carrier lever then let it drop. Don’t try to move the carrier lever you just want the play between it and the lever. You should have about .010″ with it in the down position. If you don’t have excessive play then its a issue with the carrier lever. Its probable bent down the amount its hanging low.
