I have the “Upload Attachments” link at the bottom of my posts but when I drag the photos to be uploaded and click on start the progresss bar for the first photo reaches 100% and I get the following:
Upload URL might be wrong or doesn’t exist.
This appears to be a programming error as I’m attempting the Direct Method and not trying to upload via a link.

The above is what I get when trying to upload photos using the Direct Method. I have the “Upload Attachments” button at the bottom of my post but after dragging the photo and starting the upload I get that message, even though I’m not attempting to insert a link.

I have been getting that same message myself for several weeks now. Sometimes I could shrink the size of the photo and it would post. Other times it didn’t matter what I did.

Keep in mind that the file size limit for picture is 3MB.
If your file size is not the issue, please report your errors on the “Problems, Bugs, and Fixes” forum.

I understand the limit is 3mb, but I have tried uploading images that were under 3mb and received the same message as above.
Sometimes I could log out and log back into the forum and then retry posting the image and it would work. Other times It wouldn’t work no matter what I tried. Which I haven’t tried loading a photo in a couple of weeks, so I don’t know what the issue is. But I hadn’t been in a discussion on the forum where I’ve tried uploading a picture either in a while.

I have once in a while been able to post pics in the past with a lot of time consuming attempts. More luck than not I just spent a few minutes attempting again now the latest Windows, but it is not easy 80 KB file size should be small enough ? again failure

I had a phone session with Rob Kassab where he accessed my computer and we found the problem. A solution is on the way. Has to do with file size.
