I was delighted to (again) meet with Robert Reed, this time at a little show near Waco. Bob was a WACA director from time to time and is proud of his 31 consecutive trips to Cody for the annual show. I didn’t know he was the show photographer until Bert told me. The Summer 2014 issue talks a bit about his contributions and an article about a Texas Ranger’s rifle tells the story of how he acquired the rifle and built a display telling the story of this fallen Ranger and his rifle. Bob showed me the article yesterday and I couldn’t wait to get home to read the article in the archives. Actually, I read the entire issue. Great issue, some of you haven’t aged a bit!
