Joel,

It is not possible to assess the value of your Winchester shotguns sight unseen. Each gun has to be inspected & evaluated to determine the variation, originality, and graded condition. Usually, that requires a hands on inspection.

 Bert,

I appreciate your quick response and your insight. What you brought up is probably what needs to be done I’m sure. So with that being said and hypothetically looking at these as all real and originals. Out of curiosity, do you or anyone see any guns that stick out to you as more collectiable than the next or are they all kind of average and plentiful guns?

Regards,

Joel

Joel,  An original 28 gauge model 12 is a rare gun and sought after,as well as the new in box model 12 and the model 42 cylinder choke. Like Bert said, hands on inspection is necessary to give accurate valuation.

There are many many fake 28 gauge model 12s out there.

Bert,

I apologize for the late reply. Thanks so much for putting the time in to respond and also to put that in order for me. I’m bringing them all to the Winchester gun gallery in Fort Worth tomorrow to have them authenticated, graded and appraised. I figure that’s the best thing to do like you and Deluxe suggested. Thanks again.
