About 3-4 weeks ago I ordered a variety of screws from Winchester Bob. I talked to Bob Knapp and placed my order with him over the phone and mailed a check the same day. Now, close to a month later, I haven’t heard anything from him and still have not received my order. I’ve made numerous attempts to call and left voice-mails with no success. I’ve never purchased anything from him before so is this his normal process or has something gone wrong with Winchester Bob? Just wondering from others who have dealt with him before and wondering if I should be worried about receiving my order it not?

Others have reported the same. A long thread was generated about it, which maybe you can unearth. Evidently, he operates a one-man shop, & is simply swamped with orders. Sad situation for him as well as customers.
My experience with Bob was very good. Needed a firing pin for an 86, called, had one in stock, mailed him a check, and as stated waited the 7 -10 days for it to clear. Once it cleared I had my part in another 7-10. and it fit perfectly. I’ve got no complaints with him. I even called him on a Sunday and he answered.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully this is the case with my order. I tried calling multiple times on multiple days and no answer. Going on a month now…

Don I tried purchasing parts for a 1873 Winchester set trigger from Bob 3-4 years ago. He would not sell me the parts but would rebuild the trigger if I sent it to him. I sent it to him and got the lower tang back in perfect working order. i honestly never had any issues with him or his work timeline. He did exactly what he said he would do for the price he stated.
that is my one experience with him and it was good.

I recently had a couple of dealings with Bob. One time I called him and he said he had been sick and he only ships on Friday. I guess in Maine postal service is not nearby. I also had to return a part and he did exactly as he said he would. Speed is not his specialty but I am sure you will get your parts. Don
